About StartOS

StartOS is a server OS, a Linux operating system optimized for administering a server.

Other operating systems, such as Mac, Windows, and most varieties of Linux, are optimized for administering a client, like a laptop or desktop. You must "pop the hood" and access the command line to use them as a server.
